Greyhound Tips For Saturday 8th June 2013

If your a Greyhound Racing fan, then there's no reason to miss out on the action this Saturday night. The semi final's of the Peter Mossman Classic are the highlight; nearly every dog engaged in the semis looks a fair chance of saluting at Wenty Park Tonight.

Down at Border Park at , on the Qld/Nsw border, we also see 6 heats of The Border Park worth $20,000 to the winner this Queens Birthday Monday. Heats start at 1.15pm. racing enthusiasts can kick start their punting day at Border Park and round it out at .

Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 7 Box 2 Veyron Bale, 9.35pm

I've always been a fan of this bloke, and I don't mind his racing prowess. He's a winner of 3 from 6 starts here, but does have a very fast 29.63 win here to his credit. He's certainly the class runner of this field here tonight. Last week he showed his class with a last to first victory in 30.12. He's a strong type who can show box speed. It's hard, not to make a case here for most runners, but I'm sticking with the classy Veyron Bale. I expect him to jump 3rd or 4th early and as long as he can get around the first turn safe, expect him to he charging on.

The Meadows Greyhounds, Race 1 Box 1 Fancy Amigo, 7.15pm

This bloke looks the certainty of the night. There will be little value in backing him outright so we are going to try find the first 4. He's got far to much speed and class here, and from box 1 he should jump boot up and put the others to rest early on. Our first 4 selections are boxes 2,3,6,7. I suggest taking a standout First 4 with Fancy the anchor. The value runner may be the Son of , He Went Off; if he can ping and find the front early, and run second, I think he's going to add the value here for punters. Fancy Amigo for the win should be far too good.

Cannington Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 1 Archie Doodah, 9.12pm W.A time

This is one of those races where drawing a inside box is a huge advantage. Archie Doodah although not a brilliant beginner does have enough early speed to boot up early and hold them out rounding the first turn. He has an Average PB of 30.83 here but it's enough to win this race here tonight from the rails. He likes to wind up mid race, and I can see him skipping away with this rounding the first turn. Lightning Bug appears the only danger, and both runners will enjoy the advantage of the inside boxes. He should be backable odds Archie and I suggest a nice eachway bet here on him tonight.

Best Of Luck
