Rockhampton greyhound tips & top value bets – October 26, 2022
This week we are back to our normal Wednesday night meeting. We have huge 12 race card to sort through and find some winners. ARG has you covered with good bets, a value pick, and selections in all four quaddie legs.
BEST BET: Sisu (Race 11)
The Lindsay McCarthy-trained Sisu (box 2) looks the best bet on this program. This daughter of Konomi suffered her first career defeat when she finished second behind Suited It from box three but still managed to clock a personal best time of 23.95 seconds. Tonight, she should cross the greyhound drawn in box one early in the race and be the greyhound to beat. Main danger looks to be the Ken Boody-trained Deadly Choice (number 9) who now gets a run from box seven with the early scratching of Nanny's Magic. Deadly Choice is better suited to an inside draw.

NEXT BEST: Striking Stare (Race 9)
The Andrew Suli-trained Striking Stare (box 3) looks the next best bet on the program. This son of the great Fernando Bale defeated Capacitor last Saturday from box two, clocking a personal best time of 23.89 seconds. Tonight, he has another good low draw and has been in good form since coming from NSW. Expect him to be contesting the early lead and could lead all the way. Main dangers look to be Sholto (box 1) who should appreciate wearing the red rug, and Genius You (box 4) who could get a good run early outside of Striking Stare.

BEST VALUE BET: Shakey Country (Race 10)
The Neville Jackson-trained Shakey Country (box 8) looks the value bet on the program. This daughter of Comic Rumble has been luckless in her last two starts from box five. Three starts ago, she won from box eight defeating Zambora Chief clocking a good 24.10 seconds. She should appreciate the wide draw tonight and looks to get clear galloping room early in this race. She does finish off well in her races so look for her to be charging home in the straight. Main dangers look to be Zipping Raven (box 2) and White Bull (box 3) who both have good low draws and should be in the early speed battle.
