Wentworth Park racing tips

Wentworth Park plays host to another sensational night of greyhound racing this Saturday with 10 races set down for decision. Amongst them is the final of the restricted bitches-only and dogs-only series where the participants 10 days ago. There is also a very nice free-for-all race, a good and plenty of other quality events to get excited about. As always, we will endeavour to find you a few winners and their dangers.

BEST BET: Wyndra All Class (Race 6)

What a good race this is but we have to stick with the girl that has been doing us proud of late. This daughter of and Winxette's did the right thing for us again last week winning in good style and in good time albeit at a short quote. She has now put together four in a row and all of them in under 29.9 secs which is the sign of a very consistent very good greyhound. She steps up in grade tonight; taking on and Zipping Orlando amongst others and hopefully that will just mean a better price for everyone. Her record is now an impressive seven wins and two seconds from her twelve career starts and there is no reason she can't add to that tally tonight.

Danger: Zipping Orlando is almost the forgotten dog in this race. You look at his form and think “oh well he is not going that well of late”, but remember he has been racing in elite company. Have a look at his last start where he raced against , Kysaiah and She's A Pearl in the heats. He will not know himself back into a fourth and fifth grade race. He would certainly be the value bet if he started at silly odds as he does possess the fastest personal best time of any runner in this race here at Wenty.

NEXT BEST: Black Abbott (Race 8)

We tipped this boy to you ten days ago in the heats and he copped a pretty nasty check early on and still used box one perfectly to just get home. Well lo and behold if he doesn't draw box one in the final tonight and it is the perfect box for the son of Ritza Lenny and All Dolled Up. He should get excellent cover again early tonight as Zipping Stirling likes to drift up the track which should leave the door open again for Abbott to push through and get after the leader. It will then be a case of how fast the leader is going and how much petrol is in the tank of Black Abbott to be able to run them down. Again it is a step up in class for this talented greyhound but again that will hopefully only increase your returns.

Danger Zipping Sterling who looks as though he has the pace to be competitive early with the likes of Gozo King and Tarawi Ferrari and if that is the case there might be three abreast heading into the first turn. Sterling may hold the lead and zip away and be the sitting duck late for our top pick.

BEST VALUE: Coast Model (Race 2)

This absolute class greyhound for the Lord kennel has contested just about every major Sydney race in the last twelve months. She was a million dollar chase runner up back in May and loves it here at headquarters with 16 wins already. She drops back to the Wenty Park 500m again after contesting the rich middle distance championships at recently. She is always a good chance of leading in her races and if she can find the front tonight will not be getting run down. She handles wide draws well and will get good cover from Lochinvar Lona who likes to head for the fence. Early markets suggest that the money will be for the inside division and at the juicy odds she should be at tonight she will be well worth a ticket to bring up win number 17 here at Wentworth Park.
