Tough race to start the night but I’ve gone with the promising Aeroplane Jack. After a good getaway he found a bit of bother in running before being narrowly beaten in good time on debut. If he can reproduce a similar first split to last week he should be able to settle in the top two or three early and I think he may be too zippy for them as they head into the back straight.
Nemesis Bale is the run on type in the event and he caught the eye when charging home to score a handy 30.37 heat win. Obviously a repeat of that effort would see him feature but he is going to need a few breaks in running. Eyes Adorable should settle on the speed and she may give a nice site at odds, she has weakened badly in her two runs to date but she should be a lot better for those two efforts. Callum’s Mum steamed home to score a strong 30.51 heat win and if she gets through the first turn unscathed she should be there at the end.
Top Four: 4 – 5 – 2 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Aeroplane Jack
Exacta: 4,5/2,3,4,5 ($6 for 100%)

Udon Bale doesn’t win very often but he has been placed in five of his seven tries here and he is getting close to another victory. In his past three starts he has been placed on each occasion at Sandown and this venue and each time his personal time was very impressive. From the red he should be able to punch through and hold a forward spot early and if he settles in the top three he should prove far too strong in the run home.
Gunloch is an exciting prospect and he was pretty stiff in his debut here last week. He missed the kick last time out but he has shown that when on song he pings the lids and can run some serious time on the bunny. Magneto Bale has a good record here and if he can cross he should be in the mix. If you go back through his form he has an impressive 26.05 Warragul win to his credit and that type of run would see him take a power of beating in this. Pocket Kings is well drawn nearer the inside and he can show early speed in his races, he probably lacks the class of some of the others but he has enough speed to lead and he can give a sight at odds.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Udon Bale
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,4,8 ($3 for 100%)

Dyna Synch is a strong type and he is due for a change luck, the box draw doesn’t help but he is likely to get back in the early stages and if he can find the rail then he becomes a major player. Along with Classy Boy he is probably the most talented chaser in the event but because of his racing pattern he will always make you work hard for a collect. He has a solid 30.45 winning PB here but he has gone much quicker when placed in good company.
I’m A Pedro normally steps well and he comes here with solid NSW form, he does his best racing when on the bunny and if he can drive through at the first turn he can probably get down to around at the 30.20 mark. Maintenance Man is drawn to settle in the top two early and if he handles the first turn he should give a great sight, most of his racing has been done over the 450m journey so the last 40m may be a bit of a worry. Classy Boy as mentioned earlier has a heap of talent and with the right breaks in running he should be in the finish. His box manners tend to let him down but if the leaders shuffle up he may just run over the top of them late in the race.
Top Four: 5 – 3 – 1 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Dyna Synch
Exacta: 3,5/1,3,5,7 ($6 for 100%)

Blonde Oasis is a super talent and if she can cross from the outside she should prove too speedy for this lot. Her recent form isn’t too flashy but if you go back through her form she did register a sizzling 29.53 Sandown Park win. On that occasion she stepped cleanly and drove to the lead as they headed into the first turn, tonight I can see something similar occurring and she should be good value in this company.
Go Ginger Go is drawn to find the early lead and she scored a well deserved 30.42 heat win here last week. Obviously she will need to go a little quicker to win tonight but she should be much better for the run last time out so some improvement is expected. Bunga Bunga has been racing with minimal luck in recent times and if she happens to ping away she will run a monster race. She doesn’t have much speed drawn on either side so she should get every chance. Gemstar tends to do her best racing here and she was an impressive all the way heat winner in 30.27, if she happens to cross again she will prove hard to reel in.
Top Four: 8 – 1 – 3 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Blonde Oasis
Boxed Quinella: 1,3,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,8/1,3,5,8 ($6 for 100%)

Zipping Rory was far from disgraced when placed behind superstar Sweet It Is at Sandown Park last time and he should find this much more to his liking. He normally begins well and he showed his true ability when posting a ridiculous 41.75 Wentworth Park win back in early October. He clearly races best when on the bunny and he should get all the breaks early as there is very little speed drawn on either side.
Flying Twist is unbeaten over this trip and she should be in the mix for a long way. She normally pings the lids and she should match motors with Zipping Rory for a long way. If she had drawn a little better I would have put her on top but the middle pin is a little bit of a concern. Dyna Perseus is too hard to follow but if he goes around at big odds he may be worth a saver bet. He is hit or miss early but when he steps he is capable of running the hands off the clock. Starc rounds out the genuine winning hopes, he has been racing in consistent style and he has the speed to settle in the top two or three early. His past two placings at Sandown have been very impressive so he must be kept very safe.
Top Four: 2 – 5 – 4 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Zipping Rory and Dyna Perseus
Boxed Quinella: 2,4,5,7 ($6 for 100%)

Size Does Matter has been a bit of a money muncher of late but tonight he appears drawn to get the cash. He is seriously a freakish talent when on song and if he can just step away cleanly he should have enough natural speed to settle in the top three, if he can settle in a prominent position he should go into overdrive as they head for the back straight and a very fast win will be on the cards.
Grand Legacy was far from disgraced when placed in his heat and he is drawn to give a good sight. Last week he missed the kick but he is normally a much better beginner and tonight with the speed drawn on his inside he should settle just behind them in the early stages. Ultima Bale is the real deal and he is going to win some good races in the near future, he is obviously a great chance tonight but from the pink he will need a few breaks in the early stages. Take Charge flew early in his heat and if he crosses early he will give a great sight again, his last 40m isn’t great but if he crosses he may build up a nice lead mid race.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 8 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Size Does Matter
Exacta: 1,3/1,3,4,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,4,8 ($ 3 for 100%)

Sisco Rage has been in red hot form of late and it takes a brave man to tip against him. He is actually quite well drawn in the middle pin and with an even getaway he should have enough natural speed to settle in top three early. He has won five on the trot and he has led and come from off the speed in those efforts so as long as he avoids trouble he should be there at the finish.
Zipping Tank is a star Sydney sider and he has been crying out for this journey. His box manners aren’t great and he will be looking to get wide but if he happens to get a few breaks early he will take a power of beating. Zell Bale is well drawn out wide and he has the speed to settle in the top two early, four runs back he posted a strong 34.65 Sandown Park win and a repeat of that performance would see him give a nice sight at odds. Enchanted Bling is the up and comer in the event, she was a commanding 34.63 winner here two runs back and she is capable of anything when she sights the bunny.
Top Four: 5 – 4 – 6 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Sisco Rage
Exacta: 4,5,6/2,4,5,6 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5/2,4,6/Field ($18 for 100%)
Quinella: 5 to rove with 2,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Buckle Up Mason is a class act and he has a tremendous record over this journey. With 14 wins from 38 starts he appears very well graded in this event. In recent weeks he has been racing well without winning and tonight with a good getaway he should find himself in a prominent position throughout. There isn’t much speed engaged in this event so he really should get all the breaks in the early stages.
Babylon Club could be the value in this race, his form is much better than it reads and he can show early speed at times. Three starts ago he turned in an enormous effort when placed behind Musquin Bale and a repeat of that effort would see him put pressure on Buckle Up Mason for the entire trip. Maximum Lil is drawn to get a nice cart across early and she should run a bottler, like the two mentioned already this is much easier than she has been contesting and if she crosses she will be running time on the bunny. Spring Leaf rounds out the chances, she is down on confidence at present but she has a great record here and if she happens to get away on terms she may give a very cheeky sight.
Top Four: 7 – 3 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Buckle Up Mason
Trifecta: 7/2,3,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,7,8/2,3,7,8 ($9 for 100%)
Boxed Quinella: 2,3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

Over Limit is an absolute star in the making and it’s hard to see him getting rolled after he scored a breathtaking 29.66 win here last week. He was fair to begin last week but he showed a good turn of foot and he then dropped the hammer as he headed for the back straight, he is the real deal and at the $1.20 quote it is best to just to anchor him in your exotics.
Aristotle Bale has the good draw and he was a solid 30.32 heat winner last week, he copped a couple of knocks soon after box rise in his heat so I would expect him to get down to around the 30.05ish mark tonight. Quarrel Bale continues to improve and he is capable of overcoming the difficult draw. He powered to the line in his 30.21 heat win and he should continue to improve with more racing. Lady Deedee could run a cheeky race, she has the speed to lead and she has recorded three solid placings here of late.
Top Four: 8 – 1 – 5 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 8/1,4,5/Field ($18 for 100%)
Exacta: 8/1,4,5 ($3 for 100%)
Quinella: 8 to rove with 1,4,5 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/1,4,5/1,4,5 ($6 for 100%)

Warrior King is much better than his recent form suggests and he appears very well graded in this event. He has won three of nine over this track and trip and he isn’t too badly drawn out wide. There is a bit of speed on his outside but underneath he has a couple of keen railers and slow beginners so he should get a fairly clear passage in the early stages.
Her Highness is drawn to find the early lead and she gave a good sight when placed here last week, she generally gets very tired in the last 50m so I dont think she is a winning hope but she is a great place prospect. Allen Icarus showed a return to form when placed here last week and he shouldn’t be too far away, he has been placed in eight of 13 here and he should settle in the top three early. Kid Maximus is the interesting runner, he is a class act when he is on song and with four runs under his belt since returning from a spell, he may be ready to fire.
Top Four: 7 – 1 – 4 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Warrior King
Exacta: 4,5,7/1,4,5,7 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 7/1,4,5/Field ($18 for 100%)

Avondale Porche is resuming after 12 months off and she has joined the powerful Greenough kennel. Prior to her injury she had posted 11 wins from 15 starts and all of those wins where in extremely fast times. For her to return to the track she must be trialling the house down and I would expect her to run a massive race.
Tricky Rose was never out of trouble here last week and she should run an improved race. She was slow to begin and then knocked over soon after but she is normally a good beginner and I can see her rolling to the early lead tonight. Back in August she did record a ridiculous 30.35 Richmond win and that sort of form would see her run around the 29.80 mark here on the bunny. Zipping Bruno is much better than his recent form reads and he will be steaming home at the business end of proceedings. Tekki China was a speedy 25.92 Geelong winner two runs back and he has enough speed to lead, he is unproven over this trip so the last 40m may be a worry but he should still give a good sight.
Top Four: 3 – 2 – 4 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 2,3,4/2,3,4,5/1,2,3,4,5,8 ($36 for 100%)
Boxed Quinella: 2,3,4,5 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 2,3,4/2,3,4,5 ($9 for 100%)
Race 12 – Grade 5 – 525M – 11.00PM
Dyna Fatbob has the good draw and he was a commanding 30.16 winner here two runs back. From the red he should be able to push through at the first bend and settle in the top three. He is very strong in the run to the line and as long as he avoids trouble he should be right there at the business end of proceedings.
Margins is going to be well supported and start fairly short odds but although he is a winning chance I think he is going to be well under the odds. He doesn’t have great box manners and he takes a few strides to hit his straps. Ucem is an exciting prospect and he posted an impressive 29.69 Sandown Park win from this draw last time out. He normally begins well and he should be in a prominent position throughout. Jenkins Bale is a class act and he caught the eye when scoring at Geelong in 25.76 last time out, if he can cross from the wide draw he becomes a major player at nice odds.
Top Four: 1 – 8 – 7 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Dyna Fatbob
Exacta: 1,8/1,6,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 6,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,7,8/1,6,7,8/1,2,4,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)
