Race 8: Sannette Chop
Sannette Chop is well placed in the pink draw and with the empty box underneath he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first bend. His box manners aren’t great but when he gets balanced he is able to unleash a blistering turn of foot, with a clear passage in the first 50m he should be able to settle behind the three and I would expect him to prove too strong in the run home. He is currently around the $2 mark with Bet365 and that appears to be a fair price.
Race 12: Cosmic Madness
Cosmic Madness doesn’t have great form but he likes to scout wide in his races and he should be afforded a clear passage in the early stages. He has been taking on much strong company in recent weeks and with the speed underneath he should get a nice cart into the race. He should be out to double figure odds and he is worth an each way ticket.
Race 11: Starling Bale
Starling Bale is a promising type and her effort when placed here last week was eye catching. Last time out she was good to begin and she worked to the line nicely when beaten by under four lengths in a blistering 29.77. If she can get some luck in the initial stages she should be able to balance up mid field and she should prove too strong in the run home. She is currently around the $4 mark with Bet365 and that appears to be good value.
Race 8: 4 to rove with 1,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Spreading Rumours is better than his form suggests and I think he can lead for a long way and if he does he should hang on for some minor money. The seven and eight can both settle near the speed and they shouldn’t be too far away, whilst the red is very strong and should be charging home at the end.
Race 8: 1/2,3,4/2,3,4,7 ($9 for 100%)
Leg 1: 1,2,3,5,7 – Leg 2 1,3,4,7,8 – Leg 3: 1 – Leg 4: 1,4,7,8
