Leg 1 – Sandown Park – Race 4: Superfonic To Win $2.30
Superfonic is ultra consistent and he is racing in great form at present. Last time out he captured the Darwin Cup Final leading all the way and with a clean getaway from the red he should be able to lead throughout again. He has a slick 29.40 PB over this journey and this is a considerable drop in class for him, so I suggest you snap up the $2.30 nice and early.
Leg 2 – Angle Park – Race 5: He's A Villian To Place $1.67
He's A Villian loves racing around this circuit and his record over this journey is impressive having won nine of 28 with a further 12 placings. The smaller field will definitely suit him and he should be able to settle in the top three early. He meets a couple of good ones drawn in four and eight but with a trouble free run I can't see him missing the top two. Outside of the four, there is very little speed in this event so he should get every chance to produce his best.
Leg 3 – Albion Park – Race 3: Outside Pass To Win $1.70
Outside Pass is an exciting prospect and with an ounce of luck in the first 50m she should be winning. Two starts back she showed a tremendous turn of foot when scoring at Ipswich in an eye popping 30.26 and if she finds the top early she will be running sub 29.70 tonight. She is a bit skinny at the $1.70 but she does appear to be a good thing and hopefully she can get the job done.
