Leg 1 – Warragul – Race 7: Dr. Valhalla To Place $1.91
Dr. Valhalla is a highly promising provincial sprinter and he has scored some fantastic wins of late and he has also been placed in some very fast times. Two starts back he recorded an impressive 25.56 Ballarat win and a repeat of that effort would see him give this a serious shake. His box manners aren't great but he does explode once he hits the ground and he should assume control mid race. His last 30m is a small concern but he should have a nice break as they turn for home.
Leg 2 – Warragul – Race 8: Thunderlips To Place $1.80
Thunderlips can be a little hard to follow at times but he is armed with great early speed and he has won three of six over this journey. Four starts back he led all the way and posted a slick 25.85 over this journey, if he can step well again tonight he should have the speed to drive to the early lead and he is a very hard chaser to get past when on the lure. There are a couple of handy ones in the event but he has been racing against and beating similar line-ups over the past few months.
Leg 3 – Lismore – Race 2: Ima Adeline To Win $1.70
Ima Adeline has only had a handful of starts but she has shown great talent in those runs and this race really does suit. She is a good beginner and she likes to scout wide in her races, so from the six draw she should be able to roll to the early lead and dictate the terms for most of the journey. Her main rival is the four but she should be a long way in front mid race and she should be scoring with considerable ease.
