Leg 1 – Cranbourne – Race 7: Aston Shiraz To Win $2.80
Aston Shiraz is a highly talented speedster on her night and she finds herself in a very suitable race tonight. There is very little speed engaged, so if she can do everything right at box rise, she should be able to drive through and assume control at the first bend. If she does lead I can't see them reeling her in and the $2.80 appears to be a nice price, so I suggest you take it early.
Leg 2 – Cranbourne – Race 8: Greysynd Emma To Place $2
Greysynd Emma doesn't have great form at present but she is clearly better than that and she meets a pretty steady lineup tonight. The red is clearly the one to beat and she will be leading for most of the journey, however Greysynd Emma should be able to settle in the top three early with a clean getaway and she is a different chaser when she can sight the lure. She will have to be at her best to reel in the red but a top three finish looks on the cards.
Leg 3 – Cranbourne – Race 11: Wayward Wind To Place $3.75
Wayward Wind can be a little hard to follow at times but she has always done her best racing over this track and trip and she showed a return to form with a brilliant Healesville placing over the weekend. She has the ability to ping the lids and she can run time when out setting the pace, so at the $21 mark she appears to be well over the odds and worth an investment.
