Wentworth Park Friday betting tips & quaddie | November 3, 2023
The first Friday night in November has 11 races set down for decision at Wentworth Park, with the first race set to commence at 7:20pm local time. The Gosford to Wenty Series final will be the highlight, but there are many other quality races including the heats of a restricted wins series and a quality non-graded sprint race. Below are Australian Racing Greyhound's Wentworth Park betting tips and quaddie picks for November 3.
Race 5: Zipping Megatron (4)
This bloke has been ultra-impressive in his first four career starts, all of them here at Headquarters. He bombed the start in his first race and was a good thing beaten before following up with consecutive 29.4 wins. He made a few mistakes last week but beat them purely on class. While he is a touch awkwardly drawn outside two dogs that have some early pace, he has lengths on this field at his best. Zipping Megatron is perfectly graded in a 1-3 wins race, and only two rivals have won on the track, while no other dog has broken 30 seconds here.

Race 4: Tootsie Tears (8)
This striking white girl beat Zipping Megatron in a heat of the Million Dollar Maiden Series before blowing the start in the final. Her win last week in the heat of this 520m series was seriously quick. She has only had the three career starts for two wins and has had box six every time, so she is no stranger to the centre of Wenty Park. Tootsie Tears is still improving, and with a couple of moderate beginners drawn under her, she should lead this field – and that's the place to be around this track.

Race 10: Catastrophize (1)
This boy was a touch unlucky last week when he got run off the track down the back straight. He closed well when he finally got clear, but it was all over. He won't have to worry about dogs underneath him in this race having drawn the red rug. He has only had the two 520m races here for a win and a second, and he hasn't draw near the fence since winning from box two at Bulli back in August. A lack of early pace is a slight concern, but he should be able to hold the rail and prove too strong in this race – hopefully at nice odds.
