Wentworth Park Friday greyhound racing tips – December 8, 2023
This week marks the last of the Friday twilight meetings at Wentworth Park for the year. The first of the 11 races is set to begin at 2:25pm, with the highlights being two quality non-graded races over 280m and 520m. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will look over the form and try to find some winners with our free Wentworth Park betting tips.
Race 2: Clattered (7)
This girl has been ultra-consistent in fifth grade of late — she just can't buy an inside box. Her last three starts have all been here from box eight, resulting resulted in a win and two seconds behind greyhounds that have big futures. Clattered will appreciate the drop back to restricted class, as she is only having her sixth career start and is still improving. Her personal best of 30 seconds dead is better than any of her rivals, and she only needs a touch of luck to get a much-deserved second win at Wenty.

Nangar Gypsy is making her Wentworth Park debut after scorching around the Temora and Grafton tracks of late, running best-of-day times at each. In 12 career stars, she has already won six and been placed three times. She is well boxed close to the fence, although she hasn't won from the red box in two attempts. She does possess the early speed to hold the rails early, and if she can lead this race to the first turn, it will be interesting to watch the clock and see what time Nangar Gypsy can run.

Race 4: Zipping Chumley (5)
This boy is another struggling to draw a good gate, and box five is his worry here. He raced well to win at Wenty two starts back in 30.2 when leading all the way. He will need a similar start and first section if he is to win this. Forget his last start, when he was poleaxed at Richmond while contending early. If Zipping Chumley begins well, there is no reason he can't run around the 30-second mark. That might be good enough to win this, and online bookmakers are giving us a good price to find out.
