Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips – December 22, 2023
It's a festive Friday night at Wentworth Park this week with 11 sensational races set down. There is the final of the Gunnedah/Dubbo To Wenty series, a top-grade sprint race, and lots of wonderful graded races. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two with our free Wentworth Park betting tips.
Race 11: Okey (3)
Okey was a short-priced favourite with top betting sites last Friday night when he destroyed a fourth-grade field. This race is only slightly harder than that, and he draws well again inside his two main rivals. Running Reds is the only dog to have beaten this guy in his last five runs. The start, as usual, is all important in these races, but Okey has been beginning so well of late and should be able to notch his 13th win at track and trip.

Race 11 –
Form: 11211 | Career: 54: 24-11-7 | Trainer: Lindsay Davis
Race 4: Sammy Ethan (1)
Sammy has only had three career runs, all at Wentworth Park, and won the heat and final of his maiden series in 29.86 and 29.97, respectively. In his first fifth-grade start he missed the kick, got flattened and was never in the hunt from box seven. He is well placed in this restricted-class race and draws a good box for the first time in his career. If he can run anywhere near his personal best, Sammy Ethan should be beating these.

Race 4 –
Form: 114 | Career: 3: 2-0-0 | Trainer: Mark Gatt
Race 7: August Bob (8)
August Bob was low-flying around Dapto last month, running under 29.7 twice before heading to Victoria in search of Group glory. It didn't quite work out for him and he has had a month off to freshen up. He has been well placed in this no-city-wins race. There is no genuine early pace, and while he is yet to win from box eight and would be better suited closer to the fence, Bob should be able to zoom down the middle of the track early and cross this field at the first turn.
