Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips & odds – December 29, 2023
It's the final Friday night of the year at Wentworth Park for 2023, with 11 wonderful races to be decided, the first of them will be run at 7.10 pm local time. The final of the Temora to Wenty series will highlight the program, but there are a host of wonderful supporting races. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two. A happy and prosperous new year to all from Australian Racing Greyhound.
Race 7: Zipping Delvene (2)
Zipping Delvene was so gallant here last week when she went within a nostril of holding off a very good dog in Ritza Debra in 29.91 on a slow track. She used box one well on that occasion and gets just as nice a draw in box two for this race. She now has a Wenty Park record of two wins and six placings from 13 starts. She has only one win from four out of box two, but with no real early pace in this race, she should be leading again, and there is no Ritza Debra to be running her down this week.

Race 8: Ritza Debra (3)
Ritza Debra gave our best bet Zipping Delvene a four-length head start and took every centimetre of the 520m to gun her down in 29.91 which was a good time considering the slow track here last week. She showed good pace from box seven last week and will need to show that zip again, as she draws awkwardly again here in box three with an early pace all around her. She has now taken her career record to six wins and a third from eight starts and is one from one out of box three. If she can find the lead or a spot handy to the lead early, she will be the strongest dog in the race and should be bringing up five-in-a-row here at Headquarters

Race 6: Flying Vance (1)
Best Value Bet Race 6 Box 1 Flying Vance
Flying Vance tried so hard here last week when he finished second to Bianca's Boy. He was drawn awkwardly out of box seven and was held wide the whole way around. He also copped a few bumps during the run. He draws much friendlier in box one, which is where he loves to be, having won two from two in the red box, even though this is a harder race. He has now seen Wenty Park twice and had four 500m races, so he will be at peak fitness for this. He should start at juicy odds with the Jason Magri pair and Sammy Ethan in the race and will represent great value for a sneaky little wager.
