Wentworth Park racing tips

The final Metropolitan greyhound meeting of 2023 is on this Saturday night at , where 11 races will be run and won. Race 1 begins at 6.17pm local time. There are so many great races on the card, including the Dogs Final and Bitches Final from last week's heats, a top-quality non-graded race, and the heats of a 1-4 wins series. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a few winners and wants to wish all of our followers a safe, happy, and prosperous 2024.

Race 1: Bianca's Boy (5)

Bianca's Boy came from nowhere to descend upon the leaders and record an impressive two-length win in 30.14 on a slow track here last Saturday night. He is horribly drawn in the yellow box considering he has moderate early pace, although he did win well off box four last start. He has one win and one place from three here at Wenty and has career stats of seven wins and three placing from 12 starts. He will be giving them a start again and will need a touch of luck from the box, but if he gets a clear run he will flying late and hopefully bringing up a third straight win.

Race 6: Zipping Ada (2)

is another looking to bring up her hat-trick and gets the race in which to do it. She waited till the very last stride to nail Ain't Waiting last week, after giving that greyhound about five lengths on the home turn. She did scout wide round the first turn, which makes box two a touch concerning, but she did win at Dapto off this box. She is one from four here at Wenty, but she is an improving type who just needs some luck in her races and will no doubt make a great 600m dog soon enough. They shouldn't be able to run her off her legs early, which will leave them all vulnerable to her finish, with a touch of luck, of course.

Race 2: Loves A Tipple (4)

usually shows exceptional early pace. She missed the kick and got flattened here back in September, and has been off the scene for a few months. She has had a couple of sprints at Richmond to get her right for this race, and meets a fifth grade she could easily win on her best form. She has won four races here and will start at long odds in this race. If she can find her best and lead this race, she will give you a massive run for your money.
