Zipping Megatron wins again to give Magri his third Wenty double in a week

, who was a very impressive winner of the 2023 Maiden a week ago, has again won at on night.

Zipping Megatron caught eyes again, serving up an outstanding performance in his third start to win at Wentworth Park on Friday night.

Trained by , the rising star lined up in the 520m fifth grade as the -153.85 odds-on favourite in online greyhound betting markets.

Jumping from the white box, he speared straight to the lead, eager to control the pace from box-rise.

Around the final bend, he exploded away from the pack to beat Jett Khan (+650 ) by 12.25 lengths in a flying 29.44.

In his race debut, on October 4, he started fairly fairly but finished runner-up in his heat of the Chase (MDC) Maiden at Wentworth Park.

A week later, he put it all together to salute in the $15,000-to-the-winner MDC final on Million Dollar Chase final night, beating Zipping Bentley by 4.25 lengths in the fastest time of the night performance of 29.42.

From a 2021 litter of six out by out of , Zipping Megatron is an exciting prospect and the most successful of his littermates having earned $19,460 in his three career starts so far.

Earlier in the meeting, kennelmate took out a maiden series heat over the 520m beating home by 1.75 lengths in 29.67.

The win cracked the maiden for the Collison x Opal Rocks bitch, after finishing fourth in a six-dog field on October 4.

It was also the third consecutive metropolitan greyhound racing training double for Magri, who scored back-to-back doubles at Wentworth Park last week.
