Wentworth Park Friday greyhound tips & quaddie | June 21, 2024
Wentworth Park will host 11 quality races this Friday night, with the first beginning at 7:14pm local time. There are some interesting visitors getting themselves ready for next week's Group 1 Vic Peters Classic and Peter Mosman Opal heats, and it will be a great night's racing. Australian Racing Greyhound has had a look at the runners and picked out three of the best.
Race 6: Depeche (2)
Depeche has only had the two career runs to date, both here, winning each and improving in the process. She ran 29.85 in her first-ever start and then backed it up with a scorching 29.63 last Saturday night. She has tremendous early pace, and if she uses that and wins well, she may have a crack at the Group 1 next week.
Race 8: Daintree Idol (2)
Daintree Idol has broken 5.4-second mark for the first section at Wenty, which wins you races here. She should lead this race comfortably, and then it is only a case of whether she can hang on. She has a quick 29.56 personal best, and if she runs that from the front of the field, Daintree Idol will be hard to beat.

Race 11: From The East (2)
From The East has won nine of her 22 starts over the sprints. She failed here two starts back in her first and only look at the 520m, but she will have taken a lot of improvement from that run. She started at double-figure odds that night, and if the online bookmakers give us a similar price, you should be filling your pockets.
