Wentworth Park racing tips
If the weather gods allow it, will host 10 races this night, with the first race commencing at 7.20pm. There will be heats of a restricted-grade, no-city-win series for the boys and the girls, as well as a quality top-grade race over the 520m and the 280m. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.

Race 5: Not Without (8)

brings the very exciting Not Without to Wenty after two scintillating wins in the heat and final of a maiden series at Richmond. The son of and Angel Glow (who Jane raced with great success) scorched around the Richmond 520m running a very impressive 29.6 in the heat. He then came out and blew everyone away with the sheer dominance of the win in the final, destroying the field by over 11 lengths in a 29.34 seconds, 0.2 seconds outside the . He has had box 1 and box 8 in his two starts, and in this race, he gets his preferred outside box. If the Richmond wins are anything to go by, he will win this race easily too and may be set for a massive year.

Race 7: Belmont Bullet (2)

This boy hasn't missed a paycheque in his last 17 assignments and has been racing as well as ever recently at his home track in . In fact, his last two wins there in 29.54 and 29.54 in his last two starts were both the best times of the meeting and very quick times. He is a finalist, and based on his recent form, he may be looking at another tilt at the Easter Carnival later this year. He draws well close to the fence, with an extremely risky beginner drawn under him. He has three wins from six tries in box two and another five in the red box, and if he can hold the rails to the first turn, he will race away with this.

Race 4: Tap The Keg (4)

Tap The Keg is having his first go at Wentworth Park, but has been well placed in this no-city-wins race by trainer Richard Stock. Unfortunately, he runs into , who will start the shortest of the short-priced bookmaker favourites. He has only had 11 career starts and has won five of them with four seconds. He gives the impression that the 520m here at headquarters will suit him well; he just needs to get out of the boxes and cross the favourite early. He has box four with a vacant box outside, which will help, and with Zipping Optimise being so short in the market, Tap The Keg will represent great value.
