Wentworth Park greyhound tips & free picks for Friday, April 19
Friday night sees 11 races set down for completion at Wentworth Park. There is a maiden series and a nice 3rd and 4th grade race along with a battler’s race and the return of the 280m sprinters. Race 5: Nangar Gypsy (2)
Nangar Gypsy got caught up in a melee in her heat of the Golden Easter Egg. It was her first miss at Wenty Park and the box had everything to do with it. She draws perfectly in box 2 in this race. She has won four of five from this box and she beat Ultra Sense finalist Au Contraire off this box two starts ago. If she can just get across Forna Banner in the early stages of the race, she should win.

Race 6: Miss Zig Zag (7)
Miss Zig Zag did everything but win her heat of the Ultra Sense last week. She pinged and led easily, which she should do again tonight and when she was headed, she fought like a tiger to get narrowly beaten into third. With no great early pace in this race, she should lead and there doesn’t look to be any Listed Class dogs to ruin her down in this race.

Race 7: Boston Banner (3)
Boston Banner was narrowly beaten by the promising Stop It in the Ultra Sense heats and was closing hard at the finish. Has an opportunity to lead this race as there is not much early pace to be found and if he does it will be all over. He can come from off the pace as well but needs to get another win here at Headquarters as he is only 1 win from nine wins yet should start with the online bookmakers at value odds.
