Wentworth Park greyhound tips & racing preview | Friday, 26/1
Happy Australia Day. Yes, its Australia Day again and love it or loathe it, this year it falls on a Friday, which means Wentworth Park greyhounds will be racing and what better way to celebrate what's great about this country – lamb cutlets and greyhound racing?
There will be 10 races set for decision with the first starting at 7.20pm local time. The best race on the program is the 520m Free-For-All, closely followed by the 280m non-graded race. As always Australian Racing Greyhound will try to find you a winner or two.

This girl was extremely unlucky in the final of the Group 1 National Futurity on Saturday night, beginning well and getting caught up and checked out of the race in the speed battle just behind eventual winner Gets Late Early. While she hasn't been smashing the clock of late, she has been ultra-consistent and the drop back into a six-dog free-for-all will suit her. She gets vacant box outside her which is a bonus and with six wins from 13 races here and two wins from two out of the yellow box, if she can clear Got The Feature early, she will bounce straight back into the winners circle.

Race 1: Ritza Smoke (2)
Looking for Ritza Smoke to be on fire for us early in the program. He started a very short-priced favourite last week beating his main rival Reggae Pepper in a very smart time. He is the only dog in the race to have broken the 30sec mark around here and no doubt he will start at a short price again in this race. He can be a little slow at box rise but generally has above average acceleration which sees himself getting into good positions. He is two wins and three placings from six starts and so is perfectly placed in this restricted two-wins race. He also has both of his wins off this exact box at this track which is a bonus. Will be a great anchor for some multis and all-ups and should be beating these.
