Wentworth Park betting tips

Wentworth Park will play host to 10 quality greyhound races this Saturday night from 6:22pm local time. The highlight is the free-for-all race with some of the state's best chasers involved, and it's always great to see the stayers get a run at Wenty. Australian Racing Greyhound is always there to help you find a few winners, and this will be no exception.

Race 3: Big Red Bandit (5)

has only missed the places once in his career, and that was a fourth here back in November. His biggest concern is that he is usually a slow beginner, but his two wins in December last year showed just how devastating he can be when he gets away with the field. He has never had box five, but he's won out of box four and will need a touch of luck if he is slowly away. His 29.85 win at was impressive and his big win here in 30.20 on a slow track was enormous. There are bigger things ahead for this youngster, and it all starts with a win in this race.

Race 7: Mortified (1)

loves box one and has six wins and two thirds from nine attempts. She also loves , where she has 12 wins and seven placing from 29 starts, all of which have been in the top grade. She hasn't won a race since she was in Victoria in November last year, and she was beaten in the heats of the last week — as was every dog in this race. Mortified has just lost that acceleration she had at box rise which is crucial against the top-class sprinters, and if she can find it again, there is no reason she won't run them off their legs in this race.

Race 9: Leg Press (7)

This girl has won four in a row since moving over from Western Australia, including her last two at . She has run 30.09 at , which is a similar track and same distance as she sees here, so the distance shouldn't be a concern. She is well drawn out wide with moderate beginners either side. She has trialled here and with her continued improvement in fitness, if she can break the 30-second mark, she should be keeping the streak alive and bringing up her first Wentworth Park win.
