Magic Dream is drawn to get plenty of room in the early stages and that should allow him to cross to the early lead. Three starts ago he was able to find the early lead and he posted a brilliant 29.84 win over this journey, so if he can repeat that effort he will take a power of beating.
Cawbourne Power has been placed in his past four starts here and he is bursting to breakthrough. Last week he improved his box manners and he was in a prominent position soon after box rise. If he can show similar a similar effort tonight he should be in the mix early and he will prove hard to hold out. Glamorous Opal is stepping back up to the 500m journey and if she happens to hold Magic Dream out she will prove very hard to gun down.
Top Four: 8 – 1 – 2 – 7

My Awesome Opal has been quite costly in recent times but I’m willing to give him one more chance. From the red he should be able to drive through at the first turn and hold the early lead. He is a much better chaser when on the bunny and he hasn’t been afforded that luxury in his most recent efforts, so with that being the case I would expect him to show tremendous improvement tonight.
Apollo Reign could be the smokey in the event, he has a top record over this trip and he has been racing in very consistent style of late. He can be slow to begin in his races but if he does miss the kick he should be able to find the rail in the early stages and he only needs a gap to open off the back straight for him to make an impact. Lani Banarni returned to racing with a brilliant 29.92 Dapto win recently and if she can step cleanly she will make her presence felt. Zambora Magic is another who has been costly in recent months but he is a gun sprinter when switched on, if he goes round at ridiculous odds he is worth an investment.
Top Four: 1 – 5 – 7 – 8

Ritza Raider hasn’t experienced a lot of luck in his most recent efforts and he is drawn to get all the breaks in tonight’s event. There is plenty of early speed drawn in one and two and that should allow him to get a nice trail as they head for the back straight. If he can avoid bother as they head through the first bend he should prove too strong in the run home.
Creepy Coupe has scored some top wins at this track in recent months and he races well from wide draws. He has a little bit of speed drawn on his outer but if he can get some room soon after box rise he should make an impact. Kobi Jay has a top record here and he may be over the odds, his form doesn’t look too crash hot but he is dropping a little in class and he will be steaming home late.
Top Four: 3 – 7 – 4 – 2
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Ritza Raider

Dusty Moonshine has scored two sub 42 second wins here of late and she should prove too good for this lot. The small field should suit and with the empty draw on her outside she should get plenty of room to balance up as they head into the first bend. I would expect Queen Marina and Cyclone Simone to head her early but she should round them up as they complete the first lap.
Pumped Up Zarr has shown a return to form in recent weeks and he looks perfectly drawn out wide. Outside of the favourite he is the only other genuine stayer in this event and with an ounce of luck in running he should fill the quinella spot. Luzaka Icon has the good draw and she can fill the minor spot, whilst Cyclone Simone will be well supported but I don’t think she can run out a strong 720m in this company.
Top Four: 5 – 7 – 1 – 8
Suggested Bets:

Cosmic Rosie posted a brilliant 42.05 Richmond win recently and she followed that effort up with a top placing here last week. She runs her best races when she can settle on the speed and she should get a nice cart across from Tifi For Me as they head for the first turn. This heat isn’t overly strong and if she gains some luck in running she should prove too good for these.
Miss Fiction has raced well here in the past and she is one of the few genuine stayers in this event. She will get a long way back early but I would expect her to be powering to the line and if there is some trouble up front she may just swoop over the top late. Shoe Laces Lady can be hard to follow at times but she showed a glimpse of her best form when placed at Albion Park last time.
Top Four: 7 – 3 – 8 – 1

Trifecta: 7/1,3,8/Field ($15 for 100%)

Cawbourne Whip has been very disappointing in her past three starts but prior to that she was in scintillating form having scored two wins here in 29.38 and 29.50 respectively. If she was to reproduce any of those efforts she would prove way too zippy for these. There is a little bit of speed drawn on her outside but she does have the benefit of an empty box underneath.
Six months ago Royal Sprite was going to be a star but unfortunately he has gone off the boil. He has had a couple of months off and if connections have got him anywhere near his best he should be able to make an impact. Another Call has the speed to lead this event and she has broken 30 second barrier here previously, if he does happen to find the early lead he should give a great sight.
Top Four: 6 – 8 – 7 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 6/2,7,8/2,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6/2,7,8/Field ($15 for 100%)

Queen Esther has a brilliant record over this trip and she beat a quality line-up here last week in 30 flat. She has posted a blistering 29.64 here previously and from the red draw she should be able to poke through and hold the lead at the first bend. There aren’t a lot of strong runners in this event so if she does hold the lead she should get the cash.
Clonakilty Man could be the value in the event, he was quoted at big odds with some pre post markets and if he can reproduce his 29.66 win here two runs ago he will surely make his presence felt. Take It All was brilliant here last week when beaten by gun sprinter Double Twist and he only needs to get through the first turn relatively unscathed for him to feature. Outside of the favourite it’s a very open race.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 5 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 1/5,6,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,7/1,5,6,7/1,4,5,6,7,8 ($24 for 100%)

Super line-up and there are a number of chances but it’s hard to look past the explosive Tommy Brislane. He should get plenty of room to balance up in the early stages and if he can reproduce his scorching 29.51 effort here two runs back he will take a power of beating. He has won seven on nine here and he really is an excitement machine.
Evil Punk turned in a huge performance to score here last week in 30.11, the time wasn’t flashy but the manner in which he won was impressive. He has scored some great wins here previously and if he can get away on terms he should be in the mix. Bessy Boo is ultra consistent and he will be hitting the line strongly. He can’t afford to give them too big of a head start but if there is some shuffling up front he may just run over the top of them late. Keep an eye on Silent Effective, he is second up from a short spell and this bloke is going to be a star of the future. He can be slow to begin and he needs room early so it’s unlikely that he will win this but he will be a major player in future Group race events.
Top Four: 8 – 4 – 3 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 8/3,4,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
Quinella: 8 to rove with 3,4,7 ($3 for 100%)
1st: $4,350 2nd: $1,235 3rd: $620.

Quite a few promising speedsters engaged here and I think the explosive Allmendinger is the one who will get the job done tonight. Two starts ago he missed the kick a little but then he showed a tremendous turn of foot before going on to score a devastating 29.69 win here. He has fair beginners drawn on either side tonight and that should allow him to get a clear run in the early stages.
Air Raid showed great early speed in his smart 29.91 win here last week and if he pings the lids again he should prove hard to gun down. He doesn’t have the same amount of brilliance that Allmendinger has but he is very reliable early and he is getting stronger with every run. Le Burglar is the run on dog in the event and he has been placed in his past four tries over this trip. If the likely leaders make a few mistakes he should be able to capitalise.
Top Four: 7 – 5 – 4 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Quinella: 7 to rove with 3,4,5 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 5,7/3,4,5,7 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5,7/3,4,5,7/1,2,3,4,5,7 ($24 for 100%)

Open race to finish the night but if Flip The Weapon can show his best he should be a major player. Two starts ago he was narrowly beaten by the promising Kool Larocca and if he can get away on terms he should be able to go one better. On that occasion his personal time was around the 30 flat mark and I think with the right conditions he should be able to get down to the 29.90 mark.
Ritza Ruby is dropping back in distance and from the red draw she should be able to settle much closer to the speed. She is capable of running very fast times and she only needs to get some open space mid race to make an impact. Eton Gold had no luck when making his metro debut last week and he should be much better for that effort.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 7 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Flip The Weapon
