Home James Demonstrates A Leadfoot At Virginia
Racing was conducted on Saturday owing to Gawler racing on Sunday. The Club was pleased with the nominations received albeit slightly down on previous weeks. Winners were spread over a number of trainers with Home James taking out the time honours for the day with a 15.04 final run.
Our $2 jackpot now stands at $736 – nice bonus for a lucky trainer! The Club would like to remind all trainers that a Novice Event has been introduced for greyhounds who have only won ONE coursing event, so all those Maiden and Juvenile winners from today are eligible for the Novice event at our next meeting on 6 July – Remember, nominations close with GRSA at 9 am on the Wednesday preceding.
