Lil’ Bit A Faith Leads To SA Waterloo Cup Success
In sunny, fine conditions Murray Harvey continued on his winning way when Bitta Faith defeated Shaun Laffin's Sparrow Baz in the 2009 Adelaide Furniture & Electrical Waterloo Cup.
After two days of racing, the business end fronted a number of trainers and keen, close racing was the order of the day.
The Macro Meats Maiden and the Turner Family Novice were completed on Saturday and Laurie Cahalan's Silky Charm and Murray Harvey's Little Bitta won their respective events.
The first round of the Waterloo Cup, Adelaide Plains Veterinary Services Derby and the Two Wells Hardware & More Oaks were also conducted on Saturday.
The Waterloo Cup Consolation was taken out by Skeddaling with Khalia winning the Waterloo Cup Purse.
The Two Wells Hardware & More 2009 Oaks was taken out by Lola Montez who defeated the favourite, Parsipanny.
The Adelaide Plains Veterinary Services 2009 Derby was won by Don Turner's McLovin defeating Peter Hurley's Emerley Duke.
