Fast Performance In Semi’s Sets The Pace For An Exciting Irish Derby Final

Following consistently good performances throughout the competition, Tyrur Big Mike, won his Semi-Final last Saturday night in in a blistering 29.28, the fastest time of the competition so far.

Tyrur Big Mike, was joined in the final by Litter brother, Tyrur McGuigan, after he won the second Semi-Final for 21 year old trainer, Conor Fahy, and owner and Conor’s father, PJ Fahy.

Three of the four remaining greyhounds will offer Tipperary and Kilkenny the chance to battle it out once again, as last years winning trainer Pat Buckley, and Owen McKenna, both from Tipperary, and Kilkenny trainer Paul Hennessey will all be hoping their greyhound has what it takes to be crowned .com champion. Kildare based, Fraser Black, trains the remaining finalist, Krug Ninety Five.

The Ladbrokes.com Irish Greyhound Derby Final will be broadcast live to a worldwide audience on Saturday 11th on Ireland broadcasters website (www.rte.ie) from 9.15pm, and also online on the RTE Player from the following day. RTE Radio 1 will also be broadcasting live online on rte.ie.

Sky Sports in will also broadcast racing live via Tabcorps.
