GRSA Doggies Go WiFi
GRSA Marketing Manager Natalie Bailey has announced what looks to be a national first Australian Greyhound Racing, a wifi “hotspot” or zone at a greyhound track.
Punters and patrons will be the winners with the technology upgrade at Chasers Restaurant and Function Centre the home of Greyhound Racing in SA, located at Angle Park.
“We are creating the ideal environment with fantastic racing, free wireless and even apps for the “iPhone” and Touchphones,” said Natalie Bailey – GRSA Marketing Manager.
“This allows punters and web users to browse the internet while dining or having a go at the dogs'” she said.
“We would like to acknowledge the assistance of our internet partner Internode, who have played an integral role in getting this up and running.”
The wireless zone is the whole part of the Chasers dining area and extends trackside at the western end. There are instructions at each TAB counter and bar areas in the restaurant.
“We are seeing a definite growth in a younger demographic at Angle Park and we need to ensure that we cater for all patrons needs, particularly with changes in technology.
Wi-Fi is installed and is now operational!”
