Kaluna Chaos’ debut win lifts Rawlings with a Gawler treble.
Kaluna Chaos won his first race start at Gawler on Friday afternoon with his trainer, Ben Rawlings, recording a winning treble at the meeting.
The Rawlings-trained chaser started a +150 race favourite in the 400m maiden with online greyhound bookmakers.
Jumping from box eight, he used the wide alley to get to a clean lead soon after box rise, with +2000 outsider, Spring Maze, in second.
Turning the bend, Kaluna Chaos straightened with the post insight, beating home Anisette (+360) by 4.75 lengths in 23.04, with Sweet Soul back in third.

Kaluna Chaos comes from the first Sennachie-sired litter from Elite Chaos, which included four dogs and one bitch, and has so far produced three individual winners, with Rough Boy Devil being the most successful with four victories and five minor placings from 18 career starts.
His half-sister Classy Chaos, sired by 2016 Group 1 National Sprint Championship winner Worm Burner, had 21 wins and ten minor placings from 37 career starts.
Kaluna Chao’s sire, Sennachie, had a stellar career with 18 wins and eight placings from 32 career starts while banking $696,450 in prize money.
Trainer Ben Rawlings has eight more starters to prepare before he cracks 500 starters for teh year, after having five runners engaged in Friday’s Gawler meeting for three winners.
After the meeting, the kennel has notched up 124 wins for the year, with Ferocious Ivy and Agent Four saluting alongside Kaluna Chaos.
The kennel’s other two representatives were both placed.
