Lochinvar Lee Debuts At The Gardens
Greyhound fans won’t have to wait long for one of the highlights of tonight’s excellent meeting at The Gardens, when the highly promising Lochinvar Lee steps out in the first event of the night.
The superbly bred son of champion sire Just The Best and Knockabout Wilma, who ran second in the 2004 Group One National Futurity, gains a start from box four after initially being the first reserve in race one, The Eden’s Bistro Open Tonight Stake over 515 metres.
Owned by Heather Gordon, the daughter of NCA director Kevin Gordon, and under the guidance of master trainer, Robert Smith, Lochinvar Lee has only had one public outing, where he trialled in fast time at Maitland at the start of April, and he is expected to start his race track career off in style.
