Maintenance work extends closure of Bundaberg greyhound track
Racing Queensland (RQ) has revealed that the Bundaberg greyhound track will be closed for an extra two weeks to continue with the previous maintenance activities.
Consequently, the race meetings initially set for August 19 and 26 in Bundaberg have been moved to Rockhampton.
The initial shutdown had planned for a greyhound racing return on August 19, pending inspection and approval by the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) and RQ.
The next possible greyhound race meeting at Bundaberg is currently planned for September 2, 2024, pending an inspection by both the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) and RQ.
RQ has announced they intend to reschedule the Bundaberg Sprint and Bundaberg Maiden 1000 feature races, with dates set to be announced at a later date.
