Murray Bridge greyhound meeting canceled due to low noms

South Australia Greyhound News

The Murray Bridge Straight Track meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, has been cancelled due to insufficient nominations.

Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) had moved the event to a morning timeslot in anticipation of high temperatures in the region, but the lack of entries forced its cancellation after nominations closed this morning, despite an extension.

Meanwhile, the Angle Park night meeting on the same date has been adjusted due to the forecasted heat.

The first race will now commence at 6:56pm, with the 10-race program concluding at 9:39pm.

Kenneling times have also been revised to run from 5:30pm to 6:15pm

To accommodate trainers affected by the Murray Bridge cancellation, nominations for the Angle Park meeting have been extended until 12:30pm today.

GRSA continues to monitor nominations and weather conditions for upcoming meetings during this hot weather period.
