Murray Bridge greyhound meeting rescheduled due to weather
The greyhound racing event in Murray Bridge that was originally set for Monday, March 11, has now been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 12, due to the expected weather conditions in the area.
Sky Racing has given the light for this change. The event will kick off with a Straight Track meet during lunchtime, as previously planned.
Following that, there will be a night meet at the one-turn track, with race and kennelling times to be between 5:15pm – 6:00pm.
The first race is set to start at 6:32pm and the last at 9:55pm.
On Tuesday night, the Group 3 Cup heats event will take place as scheduled, with all lineups based on what was published.
Trainers are allowed to scratch their entries without any penalty due to this schedule alteration.
Because of the resources needed for the Tuesday night event at Murray Bridge, the trials at Angle Park have been called off.
Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA) will keep an eye on the weather conditions for all events during this period of weather and make any required adjustments accordingly.
GRSA acknowledges that moving the event to Tuesday night poses challenges for both out-of-town participants as well as staff and contractors and is grateful for their cooperation in making this adjustment possible.
