Murray Bridge straight track racing now to start in June
Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) is advising all participants that its plans to conduct straight track racing has been pushed back a month.
GRSA had intended for the Murray Bridge straight track to commence racing in early May 2019 however due to more trialling required at the venue to bed down processes and procedures the move has been delayed.
GRSA will look to provide more trialling opportunities on the straight track in the coming weeks before running a Picnic meeting in early June prior to the first meeting.
GRSA will continue the fortnightly Murray Bridge meeting on the One Turn track on Wednesdays however due to the introduction of G-Six from 2nd May 2019 and being responsive to current nomination numbers the Murray Bridge meeting will rotate with Angle Park on this day.
Murray Bridge will now race a TAB meeting on Wednesday 8th May rather than the Picnic meeting. The schedule will be reviewed with the introduction of the Straight Track in June.
