NCA Victoria 2024 Coursing season schedule released
The Victorian National Coursing Association (NCAV) has released the schedule for the 2024 coursing season, starting with the first meeting at Lang Lang on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Nominations for all NCAV coursing events are due at 8:30 AM with Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) on the Thursday before each meeting and can be submitted online or through GRV.
Scratchings for a meeting will be finalised by 4:00 PM AEST.
On the day The 2024 coursing season is expected to bring great excitement, with nine events lined up over 12 weekends.
On May 19, the Western Saws Gary Brett Memorial will begin at Lang Lang. On June 16, the Sylvester Doyle, Ray Boundy Memorial, and Strathbogie Cup will begin at Longwood.
The Derby & Oaks, Werribee Cup, and JN Smith Memorial are set for July 21 at Lang Lang, with Derby & Oaks (Week 2) following on July 28.
The Longwood Cup and Bert Clark Memorial will take place in Longwood on August 4, and the Waterloo Cup (Week 1) will follow on August 18.
The weeks in August also feature Waterloo Cup (Week 2), Waterloo Plate, and Waterloo Purse, scheduled in Longwood for August 25.
