Pretty Cindy leads all the way in Townsville Futurity win
Pretty Cindy saluted in the Townsville Futurity Final on Tuesday night off the back of a clean rails run.
The Brad Belford-trained chaser jumped as a +230 prospect in the 498m final, with the Danny Preh-trained Plum Tuckered holding favouritism at +125 with top greyhound betting sites.
Jumping from the red box, Pretty Cindy led from start to finish to beat home I'm A Neo (+650) by one-and-a-half lengths in 28.79, with Plum Tuckered finishing third.

Trainer Belford was impressed with the performance but admitted he expected it from his chaser following a favourable box draw.
“I thought she would beat them from the one alley,” he said.
“She did everything right – once she led, it was really the end of the race.”
Pretty Cindy finished third in her heat of the Futurity last week, three lengths behind I'm A Neo.
The daughter of My Redeemer and Miss Energiser has 17 wins and 11 placings from 51 career starts and is edging closer to the $50,000 prizemoney milestone.
Belford said there were no plans in place for her future racing, but he saw a trip south in Pretty Cindy's travel plans.
“There won't be much happening around here for a little while,” he explained.
“I imagine next stop will be sending her to Brisbane for a little bit.
“Or I may take her myself and go have a couple of weeks down there like we did last year.”
