In the first event, Just Say So only has to run up to her 32.60 win over the this track and distance on 22nd February 2008, to take this race out. The fawn bitch who is owned by Allan Metcalfe is a half sister to Australian straight track champion Schwartzanager and 2005 Traralgon Cup winner Zaar. The 26kg duaghter of Just The Best and Azz For Now only needs to have inherited a small fraction of that ability to win heat 1 and with a record of 4 wins from 15 starts there is every likelihood that is the case.

The second heat looks a battle of the Godfrey’s two runners, both owned by Susan Godfrey. The Whisky Assassin x Jolita bitches are closly related to Michael Zammit’s former super sprinter Zaability and with good win records over the track and distance including 2 wins from 3 starts for Come To Poppy, and 2 wins from 5 starts for Assassin Watch; there won’t be much else in this race that will bother them.

The final will be run on the 15th March 2008 and will carry first place prize money of $1250.00.
