Richmond greyhound meeting abandoned due to weather
The greyhound racing event that was supposed to take place in Richmond on Wednesday night, December 20, 2023, had to be canceled due to the weather and the poor condition of the track.
The stewards from Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) inspected the track and deemed it unsafe for racing, prioritising the safety of all participants.
GRNSW will process travel subsidies for all trainers affected by the cancellation.
The next scheduled meeting at the Richmond circle track will now take place on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24.
