Silver Brute makes it 13 from 14 at Horsham 410m
Silver Brute stepped out in his 70th start on Tuesday and bagged another strong win over the 410m at Horsham.
The Gary Peach-trained chaser was sent out with heavy support in the market, paying $1.30 with top greyhound betting sites.
Jumping from the two box, he speared out to hit the lead and had close to five lengths on the field at the first turn.
He ran on to win by a dominant 5.25 lengths in front of Quebec Bale ($6.90) and Tiggerlong Gas ($21.60) in a time of 22.76.
Silver Brute – Horsham, August 8
The winning time was the fastest of the night, albeit a little ways short of his 22.67 personal best over the track and trip.
The win made it three straight for Silver Brute and strengthened his impressive record over the Horsham 410m trip, where he has 13 wins and a second-place finish from 14 runs.
Having started his career over the 390m at Warrnambool in November 2021, he has gone on to become a champion short-courser.
Last year he took out the Listed Pink Diamond Champion Short Course Final at Ballarat, which carried a $75,000-to-the-winner prize.
The Aston Dee Bee x Weeping Lass dog has 44 wins and 13 placings from 70 career starts, banking $209,885 in prize money for connections.
