Tim Zoo’s victory was not only exceptional but also made history for Thompson. Thompson had previously reached the finals of the Warragul Cup 19 times without securing a win.

Tim Zoo, born in October 2021 to Aussie Infrared and Double Supreme parents, continues to impress with his wins and an impressive overall record of 13 wins, three second-place finishes, and two third-place finishes out of 23 races.
In other highlights from the event, Drill Sergeant, who recently won the prestigious G1 Sale Cup, dominated in the $10,500 Distance Cup (680m) effortlessly securing a commanding victory by an impressive margin of 6.6 lengths with a time of 38.80 seconds.
