The outstanding group of chasers (listed below), includes dual Group 1 winner Dyna Tron, recent Group 1 Perth Cup winner Oaks Road and seasoned campaigner Radley Bale, a greyhound whose prizemoney will soar to well over $620,000 if victorious in the Grand Final of the Rover Mowers Australian Cup on March 3.
The 59 remaining greyhounds nominated for the Australian Cup will compete in preliminaries that will take place on Saturday week (February 18), on an evening which will also see the running of the Group 1 Temlee, Group 2 Zoom Top and the Group 2 Rookie Rebel, races which are all sponsored by Macro Meats.
The eight greyhounds to qualify from the preliminaries will join the seeded 56 greyhounds in Australian Cup heats on February 25.
