Victorian greyhound racing & ARG support ANZAC Appeal on ANZAC Day

On ANZAC Day, Thursday, April 25, 2024, the four greyhound race clubs racing in Victoria on that day have lent their support to the annual ANZAC Appeal.
Shepparton, Warragul, Sandown Park and Warrnambool greyhound clubs will be suporting their local RSL Clubs and the ANZAC Appeal with a special promotion.
On ANZAC Day in Victoria, each race won by the dog wearing the two (2) rug, will see $50 donated to the ANZAC Appeal.
The Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) initiative known as the ‘Two for Two Up’ campaign has been going on for three years now.
The ‘Two for Two Up’ raised $700 in 2022, and $600 in 2023, with GRV matching those funds.
The promotion is named after the game of Two Up which is synonymous with ANZAC Day and the legend of our diggers.
By connecting greyhound racing with this tradition, the ‘Two for Two Up’ campaign honours the sacrifices of our veterans and their families.
The ANZAC Appeal is crucial in supporting veterans and their families by providing services.
Contributions to this cause have an impact on helping veterans overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives.
AustralianRacingGreyhound and GRV urge all in the greyhound racing community to come together and pay tribute to our veterans and support the ANZAC Appeal.

AustralianRacingGreyhound.com’s parent company, Race Media, has kicked off donations from the greyhound community with a $1,000 donation to the ANZAC Appeal.
We understand how tough things are with the rising cost of living, but we urge all our readers to donate what they can to a very worthy cause and honour those who have gone before.
