Tulsi Banner has been flying of late, clocking 29.52 and 29.53 at Wentworth Park before coming here for her first look at the track and running 29.29 – which is .3sec outside the track record. She is already a Group 1 winner, and she loves a wide draw and only needs to beat her main rival Nad Al Sheba to the first turn to make another group race final.

Race 9: Good Odds Cobber (7)
Good Odds Cobber comes to Newcastle in search of more Group 2 glory after claiming last Thursday night’s Group 1 Megastar at Dapto. He is the only top grader in this race and while box seven isn’t ideal, he won the Megastar off box eight at Dapto which is worse. He looks a good thing on class alone provided he stays away from the 40kg greyhound drawn outside him.

That is why she will be at great value in this race and worth a ticket with the greyhound bookmakers.
