The Meadows free greyhound racing tips | Silver Chief 2024 heats

The Meadows will host their Group 1 Silver Chief heats night on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The first race is set to begin at 6:33pm with the first Silver Chief heats set for 7:12pm AEDT (Race 3).

Often regarded as the Derby of greyhound racing, the Silver Chief Classic is open to young male greyhounds and throughout the years it has been won by some of the greatest chasers to have ever graced the track.

There will be six Silver Chief heats run with the winner guaranteeing a spot in the final while the fastest two runner-ups will fill up the final 2 spots in chase of the $100,000 on offer next week. Set to be run over the 525m, the heats will be worth $6,100 to the winner.
