Kasey’s Money defies odds to win Bundaberg Derby Final
Kasey's Money served up a huge performance to take out the Bundaberg Derby Final on Monday while paying massive odds.
The Peter O'Reilly-trained dog lined up as a +7000 prospect with the top greyhound bookmakers, going against a -111.11 race favourite in Smart And Classy.
Kasey's Money found the lead early, with Smart And Classy chasing before being checked as Kick Son (+600) moved through into second.
As they turned on the final corner, a few chasers threw down the challenge to Kasey's Money, but he lifted to beat home kennelmate Rebel Blaster (+1800) and Kick Son by a quarter of a length in 30.70.
