Hector Fawley scratched from Group 2 Cyndie’s Magic Final
Hector Fawley has been withdrawn from tonight's Group 2 Cyndies Magic Final (600m) at Albion Park on Thursday night, June 6, 2024.
Co-trainer Ian Cockerell made the call to pull out the dog when it was discovered that he was limping on Wednesday morning.
Cockerell mentioned that despite no injuries found on the x-ray, Hector Fawley's well-being took precedence leading to his withdrawal from the Group 2 $60,000 to-the-winner final.
The scratching of Hector Fawley, who was comnfortbaly the quickest qualifier for the Cyndi'es Magic final, has thrown the betting wide open on greyhound betting apps.
Hector Fawley, had been quoted as short as -111.11 to claim the Group 2 title after his impressive heat win in 34.63 seconds.
