Greyhound Betting Tips For Tuesday 14th January 2014

Were missing the usual South Australian meeting today with the meeting be called of during to extreme heat. We have three selections today and let's hope we can three winners.

Ipswich Greyhounds Race 5 Box 8 Bogie Rewards 4.27pm

An open race with a few winning hopes, but not all of these run out the 520m trip all that strong. It will be important to lead, and the early leaders will likely be the ones who fight out the finish. I'm going with the well boxed and speedy Bogie Rewards here. 's dogs are going well and he has a great record with his runners. Her form's quite solid, despite her having to jump from out wide in her last few on a bend start. She'll relish the chance to jump out on a straight start and can burn down the outside to lead them here. There is not much in the race who can run quicker than 31.00 seconds and should be able to manage to at least run that at her first go. Despite the fact she's having her first go over the trip, she's worth a punt from the suitable box. Ipswich is once again very tough here today so bet with caution.

Lismore Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Magic Display 9.07pm

Only a short priced one here, but she clearly looks the winner to me. She absolutely loves and is coming off the back of a second, last start in the Cup. She's drawn perfectly here in box 1 and she should ping straight to the front here and give them something to catch. The only danger in this small field is Miner's Moss, but I doubt if he can lead Magic Display or overpower her in the run to the line. These two look the standout pair and punters should consider taking a few multiples to get the value.

Warragul Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Olliemax 8.30pm

This fellow might be some value here after winning nicely at his last start. He can carve out a good first sectional, and he should be the first dog to find the rails. It's only 400m so no mistakes can be made but he showed he can run the time required to win this race here last week. At odds of around $8.00 from a inside box he's worth a crack at here. The dog in box 5 Boston Silver will be hardest to beat if he jumps and finds clear room early. He's very strong and can dominate in this with a clean jump.

Best of Luck
