Adhana Rico, Cash On Delivery land Gawler features for Griffiths

Adhana Rico (red) just edged out to win the on Sunday night.

Trainer snagged two feature wins while recording a treble from the 12-race card at Gawler on Sunday night.

Adhana Rico lined up in the over 531m as the +130 race favourite with top greyhound betting apps.

Jumping from box one, he got out to sit second as the field turned the first corner, with Who Knows Darren (+450) leading before Stout Monelli (+400) took over.

But Adhana Rico swooped outside the leader around the final turn and kicked on to take the win on the line, beating Stout Monelli by a quarter of a length in 30.81.

The victory in the $25,000-to-the-winner final came in only his second start at the Gawler track, after finishing second last week in his heat.

He has experience racing on the biggest stage with four starts in Group features, most recently running fourth in an eight-dog field in the Adelaide Cup on October 6.

In the , Cash On Delivery served up a great performance to take his 10th win at the track and trip.

Jumping as a -133.33 favourite in the 400m dash, he got out to the lead from the pink box and never looked back as he beat kennelmate Rockin' Rhino (+2500) by three-and-a-quarter lengths in 22.53.

Having debuted at the track and trip on September 9 last year, he has now travelled the journey on 16 occasions for 10 wins and four minor placings.

Trainer Griffiths started the meeting in perfect fashion, with Miss Artemis taking out the opening race.

She lined up in the 643m mixed-grade affair as a +150 hope with online bookmakers, with Max Rocha (-153.85) favoured in the three-dog field.

It was the outsider, She's All Cheek (+800), that got out to the front early, with Miss Artemis spearing out wide from the pink box.

That proved to be a winning move, as she avoided the between the other two runners and went on to beat Max Rocha by two-and-a-half lengths in 37.78.
