Race 1 – 6.44pm
520 metre novice with what’s looks to be a fine young pup engaged. Happy Haswell was brilliant in winning last start at Ipswich after missing the jump. Box eight suits him tonight and from the pink he should begin with them and be far to good, he looks capable of stopping the clock in 30.10. Box one Spring Charlie looks the next best after recording a 25.38 win at Ipswich. Boxes 2,3,4,6 look the best of the rest.

Race 2 – 7.02pm
Looks to be a match race between two dogs. Box one King Eliott and box two Gumlow Star. Gumlow Star has the much quicker PB of 30.07 and has finally drawn the right race to show her best. King Elliot should fire out to the lead with boxes seven and eight cutting across hard early. Expect Gumlow Star to rail hard and be working her way into the race down the back, as long as King Eliott hold the leads. Box three runner Atta Boy Ted could be the smokey if he gets a saloon run up the rail early.

Race 3 – 7.22pm
Tough race but I’ve settled on Box one runner Fancy Stitches. She has a PB of 30.01 and should trail Exhibitionist rounding the first turn. Box two Exhibitionist is a speedy beginner who fires out, but finds the last 30 metres a test. Fancy Stitches can hopefully stay in touch early and finish too strong. Hara’s Sammy has terrific mid race burn but lacks the strength at the end of his race. Box five Spring Colorado only needs to find the rail in any part of the race and he’ll power home.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 5 – 3
Trifecta 1/2,3,5 $6.00 for 100%
Race 4 – 7.41pm
Box seven runner You Can Talk put in a huge effort here last week when winning after being burnt off mid race and coming again to run down a top grade dog in 30.12. The box should pose no problem and she looks like the top pick. Box eight Auriga Doll appears to be returning to form and she should get a cart across with the seven. Box one Warragai Boy is a speedy beginner who should lead, but finds the 520 metre trip a test. Box two Tee Brady is a class runner but saves his best for Wentworth Park and doesn’t seem to enjoy it here at Albion Park all that much.
Top Four: 7 – 8 – 1 – 2
Trifecta 7/1,8/1,2,5,6,8 $8.00 for 100%
Race 5 – 8.05pm
Box one runner Premiers Reign upset everyone bar her owners and one punter I know who backed her when she got up at odds of $54.00 last week. That won’t happen again tonight. Box four Flash Reality is coming off a blistering win in the Derby where he defeated Keybow in 29.69 and he should lead all the way again. Box two Farmers Gold is a huge talent and two starts back put in a mammoth performance to get beat a nose in 30.02 after spotting the leader at least 10 lengths down the back. No matter where he lands he should be running on into second. Give You Credit should get a cart across with boxes four and five so expect him to lob handy early. Box one Premiers Reign can push through at the start and finish fourth.

Race 6 – 8.25pm
The feature race of the night and one I suggest you go easy in. Box one Iva Vision was the fastest heat winner in 30.09 from box eight. The box will be ok for him if he stays on the rail and rails up. Box two Good Call Paul is highly talented and looks the main danger. He has improved and looks a talented type. Box seven Jackson’s Day and box eight Blue Scorpion look to have improvement also can can fill the placings.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 7 – 8
Trifecta 1,2/1,2,7,8/1,2,3,4,7,8 $24.00 for 100%
Race 7 – 8.44pm
Interesting race and another chance for Late Angel Lee to prove he can stay. He looks the early leader and should be carving out flying sectionals for the first 600 of the race. It’s the final 120 metres that sees him struggle. Box four Set Her Again is flying at present and has won here in 41.83. She should sit in behind Late Angel Lee and power past him as they turn for home. Never Tell was unlucky not to run third last week when he become blocked for a run as they swung for home. Hougenie steps up the to 720 metre trip and looks certain to threaten.
Top Four: 4 – 3 – 2 – 1

Race 8 – 9.08pm
The super talented Peter’s Pick has drawn perfectly and looks the winner with some early luck. He loves to scout wide and as long as he jumps midfield he should be too strong. Box four Are Ate is a tricky customer. If he pings and finds the top they will find it tough to run him down, but he must lead clearly. Box two Bodyline begins slowly but powers through midway. Cyndie’s Special should fire out but will likely be collared.
Top Four: 7 – 4 – 2 – 6
Trifecta 4,7/2,4,7/2,3,4,6,7 $12.00 for 100%
Race 9 – 9.28pm
Box six Rush of Power was good in running second last start at Wentworth Park. He’s outgraded here over the 520 metre trip, so he’s being stepped up. He should lead and if he runs the trip he’ll win. Box three Charter is racing in superb fashion and he’ll be there as they pass the post. Box one Bellisimo Belle has run five seconds here so she should land handy and can run into the placings from the good draw. Betty’s Memory fires out but has no mid race pace, if she can hang on to fifth or sixth mid race she can get home for fourth.
Top Four: 6 – 3 – 1 – 4
Trifecta 6/1,3/1,3,4,5 $6.00 for 100%
Race 10 – 9.52 pm
Box six Spring Caprice flew around here in 30.00 flat in a stewards trial. If she pings and gets a drag across with box five runner Classy Blonde she should win. Box two Daysea’s Rig just keeps improving and beating his opposition. It’s stiffer tonight but he’s won his last three and keeps lowering his PB. Doc Graham in box one is a fast dog who refuses to have a go, he can finish in the placings if he shows his best. But it’s unlikely.
