Aston Olenna stepped out for his 50th career start on Tuesday and took another win down the straight.

The David Peckham-trained chaser lined up in the 300m open contest as a $1.30 favourite with top greyhound betting sites.

At box rise, Woodside Zulu ($13) jumped out to lead and looked to be getting clear from the chasing pack.

From the two box, Aston Olenna stormed down the outside over the top of the leader to take the win.

He beat home Woodside Zulu and Nitrogen Dancer ($41) by one and a half lengths in a time of 16.80.

On August 1, Aston Olenna won his heat of the South Australian Straight Championship over the Murray Bridge 350m.

In the final last week, he ran home third as a $6 chance behind ($8) and runner-up ($2.20).

He has gone unplaced only twice in his past 15 starts and holds an 82% rate of landing in placings throughout his career.

In January 2021, he made his debut at Mount Gambier over the 305m trip and beat home Sianna Magic by one and a half lengths.

A week later, he backed it up with another win over Sianna Magic at the same track and trip, this time by two lengths.
