Cannington is set to host a 12 race program on Saturday night from 7:10PM local time. The meeting is headlined by race nine, which is a Best Eight WA Bred Final featuring the likes of Lentil Monelli and Pudding Monelli.

Poppa Monno has made quite the impression since stepping up to the staying distance. The three-year-old is arguably racing in career best form and this has to be attributed to the rise in distance. Prior to the last month, Poppa Monno had raced exclusively at the 500m with the odd 600m appearance. On his 715m debut, he ran a cracking third by the highly impressive King Tommy only being beaten four lengths in 42.15. Last start, he got into some trouble on the first turn, which ultimately cost him the race as he only got run down late by Sher Zany. Ballistic Ant finished third in that affair and has since dethroned the best stayers in Western Australia. Box eight appeals, as does the map with It's A Dime and Fortified Mack drawn directly inside who will make the speed and cut to the rails.

No Limit Needed gets her chance to break through on Saturday from a favourable box. The daughter of Zipping Garth has had an illustrious career to date recording 11 wins and 20 placings from 52 starts for trainer Christine Robartson. Since her last success in April, she has raced exclusively in top grade against some of the quickest dogs in Western Australia, including Elite Machine, Crumble Monelli and Electrified. There's no rival in this contest that has the resume of the above chasers, and the last time she had box two, she recorded a quick 29.76. Lady Dior, drawn inside her, is a religious slow beginner, and she should have the speed to keep Katchoo and Tweak Freak at bay. If she finds the lead, she will take plenty of catching.

Race 10 – #2 Raised
A brilliant map will take Raised a long way in the tenth event. The son of Fernando Bale has been racing in terrific form of late recording a win and two placings from his last five runs. The three-year-old was brilliant two starts back riding the rail to score victory late over Rippin' Tomahawk. Since then, he was unsighted for over a month before returning in free-for-all company and finishing off well for fourth, beaten three lengths by Crumble Monelli. He receives a grade drop on Saturday and finds an extremely winnable race. Kodja Girl, drawn inside him, steps up to the 520m from 380m and is sure to put pressure on Rumblin' Moment who will be aiming to get across. With this, Raised should get the perfect drop in-behind rivals and prove hard to hold out in the concluding stages.
