Dapto greyhound racing tips

If it is a Thursday night in NSW, then it is time for the Dogs, and this week there are 12 scintillating races to be decided. The first race will commence at 6.57 pm and the program will have a little bit of something for everyone. From Maidens to and some great restricted-class racing. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try and find you a winner or two.

Race 4: Cawbourne Apollo (4)

Cawbourne Apollo has really put it together of late around Dapto, winning his last two here and being the best of the night last week here in his 30.13 win on a slow track off this same box. He is the only dog to have broken the 30sec mark here. His career stats now read as 7 starts for three wins and three placings. All of them are here at Dapto; his only miss was at Wenty Park, where he got flattened early. He has had a win and a third from the blue box, and with a vacant box three underneath him, he should get the room he needs early to accelerate to the lead and race away with this restricted class race.

Race 8: From The East (7)

She has been perfect for Hayley Moffitt since coming across “from the West”. She has had two starts here from awkward draws in decent fields and accounted for them both by over four lengths. Not to mention that she has been running fast—17.05 in her first run here and then improved that to 16.92 last week. She has drawn off the track for both runs here, so box seven will be nothing new for her. She has won two from three, with a placing off this box, and is two from two here at Dapto. If she improves again, then she will definitely be the girl to beat, even if the red dog has a batcycle…

Race 11: Maxi Emgrand (4)

This boy began well and gave nothing else a chance in a good win at on Sunday night, off an awkward box-six draw, and just might go right on with it now. He has never raced here, but the 297m start and course shouldn't hold any concerns for him. He is drawn awkwardly in box four with pace in the race. He is none from four from box four, but has been racing much better recently. As is always the case in the 297m races, the start is paramount, and if can nail the start, there is no reason; he can't go back-to-back at nice odds indeed.
