Dapto greyhound tips & quaddie picks | Thursday, November 2
Dapto will be hosting a 12-part program this Thursday night, with the first race due to commence at 6:49pm local time. The highlights will be the non-graded 600m race and the final of the 1-3 wins series. As always, Australian Racing Greyhound will try to steer you towards a few winners.
Race 7: Has Ability (7)
This boy recently made the Million Dollar Chase final and then headed south for a shot at the Goulburn Cup. He has been screaming out for more distance, and he destroyed a decent field at The Gardens last week in his first look at the 600m. He has only been to Dapto once, running second as a maiden, but certainly has matured since, winning five of his last seven starts. Has Ability has won two out of four from box seven, and while he is a touch awkwardly drawn with a fast beginner outside him, with an ounce of luck early he will round them up and open his Dapto account.

Race 6: Stockton Slap (2)
This bloke did the job for us last week in the heats of this 1-3 wins series, and there is no reason he won't do the same in the final. He has drawn perfectly again in box two and has a moderate beginner drawn under him. He has two wins and a placing from three starts on the track, and while he will need to improve on the clock, his main rival is drawn off the track and may struggle to get across this field. Stockton Slap looks like getting the gun run early and can take over at the first turn and win this.

Race 9: Good Odds Honey (1)
Good Odds Honey has got to the front in her last two races over the 400m, but both times she just weakened when pressure was applied from other dogs. She is now back to the 297m, where she won here three starts back in good time, and a repeat of that effort should be good enough to win this. She goes well from inside draws and loves Dapto, and she might offer some value in what looks to be a wide-open race.
