Dapto Thursday betting tips & quaddie – December 21, 2023
Another 12 quality greyhound races are set down for decision at Dapto this Thursday night. The free-for-all over the 297m will be the highlight, with some top-tier sprinters engaged. Merry Christmas from all of us here at Australian Racing Greyhound and we will, as always, try to find you a winner or two.
Race 9: One Hot Bandit (4)
After running fourth in the Group 3 Christmas Gift Final over 520m at Wentworth Park, One Hot Bandit gets back out to his preferred trip of 600m. His last start over the journey was here in the final of the Middle Distance Championship, finishing behind Father Rick. He has only had the two attempts over 600m for a second and a fourth and will improve over this distance with more racing. He has won three from four out of the blue box and the vacant box underneath will help him early.

Race 11: Fortune Cookie (4)
This girl won her maiden in good style here last week, and there is no reason she won't improve further and win this race. It is always tough to go from maiden class to fifth grade and win, but with a vacant box under her, she will get room early. She is the greyhound with the most upside in the race and is worth following. If she can outpace Batgirl early, Fortune Cookie can make it back-to-back wins to launch her career.

Race 5: Molly On Fire (7)
Molly is having her first start at Dapto but has been putting together a nice record of late at Richmond over all of the sprint distances there. She hasn't finished any worse than fourth in her last 15 starts and handles all box draws. Having said that, box seven here is a horrible draw in her 297m debut and will take some overcoming, which is why she will start at great value in this race. If she begins like she has recently, she may well swoop around them out wide and give us an early Christmas present.
